ESARS-ITEC
I'm excited to share the vibrant tapestry of experiences from the Electrical Systems for Aircraft, Railway, Ship Propulsion and Road Vehicles and International Transportation Electrification Conference (ESARS-ITEC) 2023 in the enchanting city of Venice, Italy.
At the heart of the conference was the presentation of my paper, “A Hardware-Based Bidirectional Power Flow Decoupling Approach for Multi-Active-Bridge Converters.” It felt like unveiling a treasure chest of ideas, sparking engaging discussions with fellow researchers and experts. Every conversation was a step towards unravelling new dimensions in electric transportation systems.
Venice
Beyond the conference rooms, Venice became a stage for serendipitous encounters. I had the pleasure of meeting fascinating individuals and experts in my field, each conversation a mosaic of diverse perspectives. From passionate debates to shared excitement over the potential of future technologies, these interactions were the true gems of the event.
The conference lectures were equally captivating. Imagine being immersed in a sea of knowledge, attending lectures like intellectual feasts. Topics ranged from groundbreaking advancements in electrical systems to the intricacies of transportation electrification. Each session added a layer of depth to my understanding, making every moment a valuable investment in my academic journey.
And then there was Venice itself – a city that seamlessly blended ancient charm with modern marvels. The food, the canals, the sunsets – every element reflected the spirit of innovation and exploration that brought us together.
The charming canals stole the spotlight. Picture cruising on boats, each canal telling a unique story. The sunsets were the real showstoppers – painting the canals in golden hues, while gondolas glided by like poetry in motion.
The Adriatic Sea, a calm companion, added its soothing touch. Its whispers echoed in waterside cafes, where conversations flowed as freely as the canals. It was a beautiful dance of knowledge.
Ideas, connections, and discoveries
The ESARS-ITEC 2023 was not just a conference; it was a dynamic fusion of ideas, connections, and discoveries. As I bid farewell to Venice, I carry with me not only the lessons from lectures but also the stories shared in cafes and the friendships formed in the corridors of innovation.
I extend heartfelt thanks to the ETUT project and my supervisors for their unwavering support and the invaluable opportunity to be part of this remarkable journey.
